Your Movement Sounds Like My BodyIn the frame of WAVEFORMS 2014 – a student-curated event of the Sound Department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago – Lisa Stertz and Keijaun Thomas presented their current collaborative piece “Your Movement Sounds Like My Body”.
It is an interaction of two bodies, five materials and three texts.
Bodies move individually, yet together in one space. With their actions. Dedicated to objects. The symbiosis of object and body creates sound. The texts included will highlight notions of corporeality and identity.
This is an experimental performance, focusing on the production of sound through performative bodies.
On invitation by Joseph Ravens LEFT OUT took place in the frame of “GDR Imports featuring German performance artists Marcel Sparmann and Lisa Stertz”
